Niabi Zoo, 13010 Niabi Zoo Road, Coal Valley, is home to hundreds of animals. The zoo also offers a playground, train and carousel rides, classes, gift shop, picnic areas, and concessions. Hours are 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. (last admission at 4:30 p.m.). Admission is $7.25; $6.50 for ages 62 and up, $5.75 fpr ages 3-12; free for members and ages 2 and under; half-price Tuesdays.
