Date: Thursday, January 17, 2013 Narveen Aryaputri will present Rape as a Means of Political Power Play, session 1 for the Independent Scholars' Evening program at 7 p.m. at the Moline Commercial Club, 1530 5th Ave. She will focus on the two major underlying causes for the abuse of women in India which need to be changed.
