Event: Joy of Christmas Past and Present (The Ascension Singers, The Augustana Brass Ensemble, Larry Peterson)
Date: Wednesday, December 5, 2012 The 43rd annual Joy of Christmas Past and Present will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 628 6th St., Andover, and end at the Jenny Lind Chapel. It will include a service, and the Christmas story will be read in several languages. Dr. Sharon Varallo, professor of Communication Studies at Augustana College, will give the homily. The Ascension Singers, The Augustana Brass Ensemble, and Larry Peterson will provide music. A reception will follow. Call (309) 521-8127 for details.
