Event: Art of Percussion family workshop
Date: Saturday, October 6, 2012 The Art of Percussion family workshop will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport and the River Music Experience. Leif Rehnberg will perform on the Figge plaza (weather permitting). Then, make percussion instruments from recycled materials. Afterward, make a musical procession to the River Music Experience, where musicians Terry Hanson and Ellis Kell will hold a mega drum circle. Cost is $10 per family; an adult must be present.
