Visitor favorites, like the Body Builder, a life cast, realist sculpture from American sculptor Duane Hanson, are rediscovered downstairs at the Cranbrook.
Janet Williams, 609 W. 4th Ave., Apt. 113, Aledo, will be honored at an open house on Sunday, April 6, 2014, in observance of her 90th birthday.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Field House in Alexis.
Janet was born on April 11, 1924, in Galesburg. She married Alvin Williams, Alexis, on Nov. 10, 1946.
Her employment includes 14 years at the Alexis Feed Mill as a business accountant and 12 years at the College Avenue Presbyterian Church, Aledo, as a financial secretary. She is a member of College Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Janet's family includes a son, Rod and Rita Williams, Alexis; two grandsons, Cory and Heidi Williams, Cameron, Ill.; and Chad Williams, Alexis; a great-granddaughter, Sydney; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Raymond, is deceased.
