Funeral services for JoAnn Emmendorfer, 80, of East Moline, will be noon, Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline.
Entombment will be at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.
Mrs. Emmendorfer died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Monsignor Cleary Endowment Fund.
JoAnn Dobbelaere was born Oct. 26, 1933, in Moline, the daughter of Arthur and Anna Lannoo Dobbelaere. She married Chalmer "Chuck" Emmendorfer, Sept. 5, 1953, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline.
JoAnn enjoyed sewing, crocheting, flower gardening and playing cards and games with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband. She had been a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Chuck Emmendorfer, East Moline; daughters, Marcia (Brian) Larsen, East Moline, Michele (RC) Rogers, East Moline, and Mary (Brian) Sebastian, Dubuque, Iowa; son, Mark (Brenda) Emmendorfer, Moline; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
