Darby-Baek Wedding

David Justin St. John Darby and Kelly Kyong Won Baek were married in the intimate setting of the Chestnut Street Inn, Sheffield, at 4 p.m. Nov. 3, 2012, surrounded by family and a few close friends. Pastor Ron May, of Wildwood Baptist Church, Hampton, officiated.
The groom is the eldest son of Douglas and Roxane Darby, of Geneseo. The bride is the daughter of Young Tae Baek and Young Ja Jung, of Daegu, South Korea.
The ceremony began with Maiya and Evan Yu, niece and nephew of the groom, lighting the unity candles. Elena Yu, niece of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. During the lighting of the unity candle, Joanna Yu, sister of the groom, sang "When I Say I Do" by Matthew West. A time of celebration, with hors d'oeuvres and dinner, followed the service.
The bride graduated from Kei Myong University and is employed as a corporate user experience designer for Las Vegas Sands Corporation.
Mr. Darby is a graduate of J.D. Darnall High School, Geneseo. He is employed as a croupier at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nev.
