CAMBRIDGE -- A Vermont man remained in Henry County Jail on Monday afternoon on felony drug charges.
Lonnie Murray, 52, is charged with Class X felony cannabis trafficking, Class X felony possession with intent to deliver and Class 1 felony possession of cannabis. His bail was set at $150,000.
According to the charges, on or about March 1 Mr. Murray brought into the state more than 5,000 grams of a substance containing cannabis.
Charges were filed Monday and public defender James Cosby was appointed to defend Mr. Murray. A preliminary hearing was set for March 18.
The penalty on the trafficking charge is an enhanced 12 to 60 years in prison.
