Local children's author to visit the Scott County Library

Eldridge, IA – The Scott County Library System – Come meet local author, Pat McCaw, at the Eldridge Branch on Saturday, March 2 from 1-2:30 p.m. She will be signing her new book, Saving the World. Saving the World is an adventure-packed children's novel about eleven-year-old Rosie who embarks on a journey to save a mysterious world that is not her own. Copies of McCaw's novel can be purchased for $10 at the book signing. Saving the World can also be checked out from the Scott County Library System.

McCaw is a mother of two girls, Lily and Sydney, and her husband is Ryan. She is a family practice physician at Genesis in Eldridge. She believes that a good imagination is essential in life and every day is a new adventure!
