Stress has been identified as a leading cause of many health problems. Stress drains our physical, emotional and mental energy. Sarah Slavick, mental health professional, will
explain the causes of stress and the most effective ways of dealing with it. Stress-free living can give you a new perspective and help to create a relaxed mind and body. Fee: Free.
Mindless and Emotional Eating: Sitting Less and Moving More
Noon to 1p.m., Thursday March 14, Trinity Moline
Trinity Live Well Specialists Jeni and Stacia will explain how to break the cycle of emotional eating and reduce sedentary behaviors. They will explain how using the hunger scale will help you sit less and move more. Fee: Free.
Look Good Feel Better
3-5 p.m., Monday, March 25, Trinity Moline
This program teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients in active treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Women will learn how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using free cosmetics and skin care
products donated by the cosmetic industry. Fee: Free.
