MOLINE, IL — Freshmen and transfer students interested in attending Western Illinois University-Quad Cities can tour the new campus and learn about new programs by attending the Discover Western – Quad Cities Open House Friday, Feb. 15 at the WIU-QC Riverfront campus.

Discover Western-QC programs, which are offered several times during the year, are designed to serve freshmen and transfer students. The Feb. 15 open house event begins at 9:30 a.m. with an introduction of representatives from WIU's academic colleges and to the wide range of services offered at Western.

After a large group presentation, prospective students and their families will tour the WIU-QC building and have a chance to speak to faculty and advisers to discuss their academic plans and learn more about the major programs at WIU-QC. Students will also have an opportunity to sit in on a class in session.
