Fresh off its West Central Conference North Division win at Rockridge on Friday, the Monmouth-Roseville boys' basketball team rose two spots to No. 7 in the latest Associated Press Class 2A poll. The Titans secured 45 points in a statewide panel of media members.

Rockridge dropped two spots to No. 9 in the Class 2A rankings.

Rock Island remained at No. 10 in Class 4A despite winning two games last weekend. The Rocks are the only Western Big 6 Conference team to earn a ranking.

Kewanee (Class 2A) and Wethersfield (1A) received votes in their respective classes.

In the girls' Class 4A poll, Rock Island is rated fifth.
