Ruhl & Ruhl has record year in 2012

Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors had its best sales year ever in 2012.

company's results prove we are succeeding," company president Caroline Ruhl said during the Friday awards brunch at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf.

"I am thankful that I have been blessed with trulyamazing people in our company."

Ruhl & Ruhl sold 5,168 properties in 2012, as either listing agent or selling agent, up 24.5 percent from 2011. Ruhl's average sales price increased 9.4 percent, from $142,843 in 2011 to $156,256 in 2012.

Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors' sales volume in 2012 was $807.5 million -- 36.2 percent more than in 2011.Total residential sales volume in the Quad-Cities MLS was up 22 percent -- 18 percent up in the IllinoisQ-C and up 24 percent on the Iowa side.

Ruhl & Ruhl sales represented 39 percent of the Quad-Cities residential market in 2012, up from 37 percent in2011. It sold 336 newly-built homes or condos in 2012, 38 percent more than the243 new homes or condos sold in 2011. Regionally, the average sales price increasedfrom $293,297 in 2011 to $313,157 in 2012.
