Walter C. Beeth, 96, formerly of Davenport, died Jan. 26, 2013, at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Geneseo.
Visitation is 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Runge, Davenport, followed by a committal service at Davenport Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel at 2 p.m.
Mr. Beeth farmed in the Durant area and later employed by the city of Davenport.
He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include sons, Larry, Garry and Randy Beeth; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Idella.
