Emilie Marie Waldorf and Brett Michael Van Deventer, both of Davenport, were married May 19, 2012, at First Baptist Church, Moline. Dr. Flint Miller and the Rev. Debbie Miller officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony. The reception was held at Stoney Creek, Moline.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Ellen Waldorf, DeWitt, Iowa. The groom is the son of the late David Van Deventer and Pat Pancrazio and Jenny Van Deventer-Pancrazio, Port Byron.
Maid of honor was Kelsi Schawl, friend of the couple. Best man was Josh Opiol cousin of groom. Bridesmaids were Jessica Anderson, friend of the couple; Courtney Karr, friend of the couple. Allison Van Deventer and Abby Van Deventer, sisters of the groom; Molly Delich, cousin of the bride and Marlayna Millizer, friend of the couple. Flower girl was Gemma Allen, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Payton Andreson, cousin of the bride. Groomsmen were Chris Wils, friend of the couple; Chris Britt, friend of the couple; Ryan Waldorf and Joshua Woldorf, brothers of the bride; D.J. Hoepfner, friend of the couple; and Matt Robinson, friend of the couple. Ushers were T.J. Burken, Anthony Miller, Nick Miller, Jordan Miller, Blake Pancrazio, Andrew Shea and Nick Pancrazio. Eileen Delich and Stephanie Kruger served as the bride's personal attendants. Musicians were Allison Van Deventer and the First Baptist Church Bell Choir.
Emilie graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, with a degree in elementary and early childhood education and a special education endorsement. She is employed by the Davenport School District.
Brett graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in physics teaching. He is employed by the Bettendorf School District.
The couple's new address is Davenport.
