Announcement is made of the engagement of Stephanie VanVooren and David Mills, Chicago. She is the daughter of Dan VanVooren and Lori VanderVinne, Moline. He is the son of Jack and Bette Mills, Shipman, Ill.
Relatives and friends are invited to the ceremony at 3:30 p.m. June 22, 2013, at Humboldt Park, Chicago.
Stephanie graduated from Moline High School, attended Illinois State University and received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Methodist College of Nursing. She is employed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
David graduated from Southwestern High School, Illinois College with a bachelor's in accounting and DePaul University with a master's in finance. He is employed as chief financial officer with Willis Stein and Partners.
