Earl Dee Davidson, Moline, will be honored at an open house on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in observance of his 80th birthday. Earl Dee was born Feb. 1, 1933. He married his high-school sweetheart, Nora Mitchell, on Aug. 1, 1953. She died in 1995. He married Bev Hartman in 2009.
His children are Dan (Dianne) Davidson, LaGrange, Ga.; Kathy (Mike) Vogel, East Moline; Randy Davidson and Nancy DeBo, East Moline. He has 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.
He retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1988 after 38 years.
