Richmond Hill Players will hold auditions for its 2013 season opener, Arthur Miller's classic American drama "Death of a Salesman," on Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Richmond Hill Barn Theatre in Geneseo. Roles are available for eight males and four females, with ages ranging from 20s to 60s. This production, directed by James Fairchild, will play from April 11 to 21. The 1949 story -- which won the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play -- revolves around the last days of Willy Loman, a failing salesman, who cannot understand how he failed to win success and happiness. Through a series of tragic soul-searching revelations of the life he has lived with his wife, his sons and his business associates, we discover how his quest for the "American Dream" kept him blind to the people who truly loved him. Revived on Broadway four times, the last revival opened in February 2012, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman. For more information on Richmond Hill, visit rhplayers.com or call (309) 944-2244. An audition form also is available for download from the website.
