Wayne and Delores Kay, Geneseo, will be honored at an open house on Saturday, Jan. 26, in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend from 2 to 4 p.m. at Living Hope Community Church, Davenport. No gifts, please.
Delores Wirt, Moline, and Wayne Kay, Port Byron, were married Jan. 25, 1963, in a private ceremony in a parsonage in Moline.
Their daughters are Roxanna (Tom) Clemmons, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Kelley (Jeff) Timmerman, Geneseo; and son, Tim (Nanette) Kay, Metamora, Ill. They have six grandchildren.
Mr. Kay was employed as a machine operator at John Deere Harvester Works, retiring in 1995 after 31 years.
Mrs. Kay was employed in the printing press room at Desaulniers Printing, retiring in 1994 after 14 years.
They are members of Living Hope Community Church.
