Augustana College in Rock Island unveiled a new, larger Brew by the Slough coffee shop this week.

Part of the new 35,000-square-foot Center for Student Life, the coffee shop is located near what will be the entrance to the center.

When students left for the winter break, the old coffee shop was still there. The new shop has expanded, from 1,380 square feet to 3,059 square feet, and includes patio seating for about 75 people.
