Marvin L. McMorran, 88, of Bettendorf, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2012, at home.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Asbury Methodist Church, Bettendorf, with visitation 9:30 to 11 a.m. Burial is at Davenport Memorial Park.
He was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Adams County, Iowa, to Harry E. and Beulah Dixon McMorran. He married Ruth Slaten June 3, 1951.
Surviving are his wife; sons and spouses, Philip (Debbie), Marion, Iowa, Richard (Candi), Arlington, Tenn.; daughter, Rachel Brown, Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; brother, Willard.
