A benefit for Lori Pobanz will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Jan. 20, at Leisure Time Billiards, 845 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. Lori was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2012 and has completed several months of chemotherapy and radiation while continuing to work full time as manager of the Italian Department at the 18th Avenue Hy-Vee. Funds will be used for medical bills. Tacos will be served throughout the event. There will be 50/50 drawings; cash raffle prizes of $300, $200 and $100; bake sale and silent auction, including baskets of up to a $400 value.
