Moline Mayor Don Welvaert will give a State of the City address on Monday during aMoline Rotary and Kiwanis meeting at the i wireless Center.
The event is open to the public. Mayor Welvaert's address begins at 12:30 p.m. in the conference center at 1201 River Drive, Moline.
He will give an overview of the city's achievements in 2012 and highlight future projects.
An optional luncheon is at 11:45 a.m. Members of the public who want to join the luncheon need to register by 5 p.m. on Thursday by calling Nick Norman at (563) 349-3271. Cost is $25 and can be paid at the door.
