Why watch: This is a game Geneseo coach Brad Storm said is a "must win" if the Leafs want to stay in contention for the Northern Illinois Big 12 title. The Leafs will be without 6-foot-7 center Austin Frank who injured his knee in practice Wednesday. He is getting an MRI today. ... Dixon hasn't won at home yet this year. Last week at Ottawa, the Dukes had OHS on the ropes, tied with the Pirates with just 20 seconds left. In fact, the Dukes were so used to fouling that even after the boys in purple had tied it up, they still fouled. That put Ottawa on the line and after made free throws Ottawa picked up the "W." ... Senior guard Hayden Ikens missed the first 14 games of the season for a suspension, but he has averaged double-digits in the two games he has played. ... The Leafs are in the middle of a six-game losing streak after getting out to a 6-2 start. Last season, Geneseo won just six games, three of those over Dixon.

What they say:
Dixon coach Jason Mead:"We've had the best practices of the season the last two weeks. I think we're better than what our record shows. Geneseo is very disciplined and to win we'll have to play a pretty good game."

Geneseo coach Brad Storm: "We need to set the tone right away. We need to come out and establish ourselves. Dixon is playing with a lot of confidence which is different from when we beat them last year and they were kind of reeling."
