Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lundburg, Orion, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Jan. 12, 2013, at the home of their daughter, Carrie (Jed) Weber, 18160 E. 350th St., Coal Valley, from 3 to 6 p.m.
They were married on Jan. 12, 1963, in the parsonage of Cambridge Methodist Church.
Dean, son of the late Clair and Rena Stephens Lundburg, is retired from Brown National Lease. His wife, Joyce, a daughter of the late James and Edna Roby Sartor, is retired from Toys R Us and was employed as a waitress at several local restaurants.
They have four children, Sherry (Joe) Zepeda, Moline; Chris (Dee) Lundburg, Orion; Doug Lundburg (Summer Rasmussen), Davenport; and Carrie (Jed) Weber, Coal Valley. They have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
