She loved gardening and supported conservation and animal welfare charities.
She is survived by her husband, Rollin Shelton, Portland; her father, Albert (Sylvia), Bend, Ore.; sister, Gretchen (Jeff) Biehl, Davenport; brother, John (Mona) Runge, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; niece, Victoria Runge; and her beloved cats, Zazie and Wally. She was preceded in death by her mother.
