Tamra Sue "Tami" Tingle, 45, of San Bernardino, Calif., formerly of Moline, joined our Lord and Savior on Nov. 13, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Tamra was born Nov. 10, 1967, in Moline, a daughter of Johnny and Yvonne Schwarz Tingle. She graduated from Moline High School and attended colleges for art and art history in Illinois, Indiana, Texas and California.
Her last employment was with Primedia as an editorial assistant for Classic Trucks magazine. She also freelanced as a photographer and writer for several of their magazines.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Johnny and Yvonne, Rock Island; her sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Brandon Crawford, Reynolds; nephews, Andrew Geyssens and Jason Geyssens; niece, Samantha Geyssens; aunts and uncles, Paula and David Pratt, Carole Tingle and Paul and Nancy Tingle; special friend, Jeffery Tharp, and his puppies she helped raise.
She is in heaven with her grandparents, Calvin and Ruth Schwarz and Thomas and Mary Tingle; aunts, Ellen Schwarz and Diana Johnson; uncles, Bernard Schwarz, Dwayne Schwarz and Thomas Tingle Jr.
