Letter: Worrying about soldiers, debt ceiling, foreign aid

I am neither a Democrat or Republican. If incumbents are not doing their job, I don't vote for them.
I am worried about our military. When they come back from overseas, our government is not finding jobs, medical and hospitalization, or helping them with their mental problems Once these people come back, they are forgotten. Families of the military are forgotten also.
Raising the debt ceiling: How do politicians think we are going to pay off this debt? Businesses and households cannot raise their debt ceilings. We all have a budget. We had better stay within it or we will end up without a home, no way to buy food or pay utilities, etc.
President Obama and John Boehner go strutting around like they are the most important people in this country. They are supposed to be here for the people. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are just as bad. All the politicians want to do is line their pockets with money and perks. Insider trading should be abolished. Pelosi was asked about this and acted like she didn't know what they were talking about. Talk about someone being guilty. We need someone in these offices who is for the people.
The people who have been hit by tornadoes, hurricanes, etc., don't expect any help from our government. If you lived in a foreign country, our government would break their necks to give you aid. Depend on the people of our country. These people will be the first to help you out. If foreign aid was cut, Social Security, Medicare, etc., would not have to be cut.
