Why watch: Alleman looks to stretch its winning streak to three games. "I'm proud of the effort," Alleman coach Pat Rangel said. "Obviously, it is a difficult task of coming together as a team so quickly. We've relied heavily of getting after it and intensity on defense. From that standpoint, it's been huge." ... The Panthers have lost six consecutive games. "I know we're not winning games right now, but from a focus standpoint, the kids are doing well," UT coach Marc Polite said. "We're doing a good job of recognizing our weak areas and addressing them. That's what makes practice so enjoyable. If you watch us play, we're definitely improving. We're improving day by day." ... The Pioneers look to win back-to-back games against UT for the first time since the 2004-05 season. ... UT is averaging 37.5 points in Big 6 play this year.

United Township coach Marc Polite: "We have to be smoother and productive offensively. We have stretches where we have hiccups and don't execute. Keeping our turnovers down has been an emphasis. When we've done that and take good shots, we've been in games."

Alleman coach Pat Rangel: "You get a couple wins, you want to keep that momentum going. Hopefully, we can come out with a win that can leapfrog us into Saturday. We could have something to build on here."
