Joshua Edward Jordan, 35, of Mount Vernon, Mo., formerly of Geneseo, died peacefully on Dec. 8, 2012, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Per Joshua's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time. His cremains will be spread in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho that he loved so much. May he rest in Jesus' arms. Arrangements are being handled by Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Mo.
Joshua was born April 5, 1977, in Moline, to Dennie and Mary Lou Jordan. He graduated from Sycamore Christian School.
Josh was an avid book collector and a computer whiz. Life was not always easy for him as he dealt with Asperger's Syndrome but always kept his sense of humor. He never married.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents and three aunts.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Amber Jordan Heberling, Sandusky, Mich.; a brother, Paul (Tracy) Hoffman, Moline; uncles, aunts, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
