Three Davenport residents accused of instigating two area robberies early Thursday morning have been charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony.
Ronald Lester Hanchett Jr., 21; Stacey Jean O'Hara, 33; andMichael Keith Smith, 48; all of 411 S. Clark St., remained in Scott County Jail Thursday night.
Around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, the three allegedly conspired to commit a robbery at the Quad City Inn, 6111 Brady St., Davenport.
An affidavit filed by Officer John Hutcheson states Mr. Smith is accused of driving the three to the hotel, where Mr. Hanchett and Ms. O'Hara, who was armed with a knife, entered the business. The hotel's clerk later told police she also believed Mr. Hanchett had a gun, but she denied the pair's demands for money.
The two then allegedly fled the building in Mr. Smith's vehicle and police were called to the scene.

Records state police found the stolen items at Mr. Smith's residence, and Mr. Hanchett told police he had been involved in the robbery and burglary.
Records show that Ms. O'Hara also faces an additional charge of assault to a police officer in Scott County Circuit Court.During a police interview at about 8:40 a.m. Thursday, Ms. O'Hara allegedly kicked an officer.
