Mini Trees, Christmas Market at the Galva Arts Council

The Galva Arts Council will open its annual Mini Tree Festival for the 13th Season on Saturday, November 24th in conjunction with Galva's "Ol' Fashion Christmas Celebration". Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during the holiday Coffeehouse that evening. The public is invited to view the trees and buy raffle tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5 for a chance to win one of these beautiful trees or wreaths, which made by local artisans from the community. Other events going on that day will be a Children's Christmas Make and Take Craft Event from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., Barbeque lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., Chocolate fest from 2p.m. until 4 p.m., and a Christmas Coffeehouse starting at 7 p.m.

Additional viewing times for the Mini Trees will be Saturday, December 1 in conjunction with the Galva Arts Council's Christmas Market held at the Galva Arts Council Building from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Local artisans wil be selling a variety of unique jewelry pieces, fiber creations, cards, pottery, and baked goods which are just perfect for one of a kind Christmas gifts. The festival will also be open on Saturday, December 8 from 9 a.m. until noon and Sunday, December 9 from 11 until 2 p.m. during their Soup Luncheon. A variety of homemade soups and desserts will be available by donation and the drawing and pick-up for the mini trees will be at 1 p.m. on that day. All events are free but donations will gladly be accepted.
