Davenport Community Schools present 61st Annual Holiday Concert

Davenport, Iowa- Davenport Community Schools are proud to present their Sixty-first annual holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Vickie Ann Palmer Hall (former Lyceum Hall/Masonic Temple), 115 West 7th Street, Davenport, IA. The event is open to the public and there is no charge.
The concert will feature performances from the Central, North and West High School music departments including the West High School Symphony Band, Central High School Brass Choir, the combined orchestras and choirs from Central, North and West High Schools. Musical selections will include A Fresh Aire Christmas, Greensleeves, Sleigh Ride, Variations on a Christmas Carol (Opus 91, Number 2, Johannes Brahms), Christmas Eve/Sarajevo, and selections from the Messiah by George Frederick Handel.
The performance is under the combined direction of the music departments of Central, North and West High Schools.
