Letter: Why a conservative says ‘shame on us’ post-election
Comment on this story
Random thoughts from a conservative, me, following the election:
-- Shame on us for not having term limits for elected officials other than the president.
-- Shame on us for letting one political part run city, township, county or state government for decade after decade. Another reason for term limits and why the term "career politician" should be an oxymoron.
-- Shame on us for allowing illegal aliens to vote in America.
-- Shame on us for not enforcing the official language of Illinois since 1969, English.
-- Shame on us for allowing redistricting to become an advantage for any political party.
-- Shame on us for allowing any judge or politician to consider that Sharia law would trump the U.S. Constitution or Bill of Rights (www.jihadwatch.org, www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org, www.shoebat.com).
-- Shame on anyone who calls themselves a Christian and votes pro-choice.
-- Shame on us for subjectively defining marriage other than what the Bible says, one man joining with one woman.
-- Shame on us for not standing by God's chosen people, the Jews, and the nation of Israel (Go to www.prageru.com to watch The Middle East Problem or Is Israel an Apartheid State?")
-- Shame on us for allowing former radical, leftist hippies to now educate, or some would say, indoctrinate, our college students in taxpayer-funded community colleges and universities. ("Brainwashed," by Ben Shapiro, "The Professors" by David Horowitz, www.indoctrinate_u.com). Also, don't confuse college education with intelligence.
-- Finally, shame on us for letting PC (political correctness) trump JC (Jesus Christ) in our day-to-day lives. Stand for something or you stand for nothing at all.
I stand with the Constitution, our God-fearing Founding Fathers, Israel and the pro-life movement. God is our only hope, not any politician, for America to continue to be a great nation.
