Duffy De France represents Bi-State Literacy Council and Muscatine Literacy Coalition at several fall events in a two county area

Duffy De France has been a busy ambassador this fall in Scott and Muscatine Counties, representing Bi-State Literacy Council and the Muscatine Literacy Coalition.
At Reading Adventures, that was held at the Mississippi Valley Fair Grounds in Davenport, IA. The youth received bookmarks, pens, and 160 books were handed out, along with adult level materials.
Heritage Days was held at Wild Cat Den State Park, Muscatine, IA. Duffy passed out 305 books and materials for all ages. Musser Public Library representatives did a craft with the children that included making an old fashion slate, done with black contact paper and cardboard with chalk for writing.
Those who attended the Great Plains Regional Puppet Festival and the West Liberty Children's Festival received 600 books and 100 magazines.
