Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Leon United Methodist, Prophetstown. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Bosma-Gibson, Prophetstown. Burial is at Leon Cemetery.
She married Robert A. Smith in 1951. He died in 2008.
Surviving are children, Sandra, Moline, Susan Odquist, Kentucky, Bonnie, Tampico, George, New York; many grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; siblings, Carol McDonald, Geneseo, Richard Whipple, New Hampshire, Harvey Whipple, Green Rock, Ronnie Whipple, Silvis.
