RE: 15 + INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO PLACE BEFORE THANKSGIVING
Plans are going well for the fifty-third annual visit of international college students over Thanksgiving. There are still 15 students (3 with families, 6 females, 6 males) from several countries that the Geneseo International Thanksgiving Fellowship Program needs to place in home stay families, with more on a waiting list if they can be placed. The students will arrive Wednesday, November 21 about 6:00 pm in Geneseo and leave Sunday, November 25 from Geneseo. Information packets are available for the host families.
There will be a Host Information Meeting, Monday, November 12 at 7:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 133 East North Street, Geneseo. All hosts are urged to attend to get acquainted and get information regarding the event.
Anyone interested and able to provide lodging and time learning about and interacting with another culture, should call Arlyn and Marcia Helke, Geneseo coordinators, at 309-944-4486 as soon as possible.
