William and Nancy Jordan, 15512 N. 159 Lane, Surprise, Ariz., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends when the couple visits the Quad-Cities in November.
Nancy Brown and William "Bill" Jordan were married Oct. 20, 1962, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Moline.
Their daughters are Cheryl Jordan, Moline; and Terrie Jordan, Rock Island.
Bill retired from the University of Illinois Extension Office, Rock Island County, in 2005, where he was the horticulture program coordinator. Nancy was the office manager and bookkeeper at Builders Sales and Service Company, retiring in 2009 after 32 years.
They are members of Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West, Ariz. Bill and Nancy lived in Moline for 33 years before moving to Arizona to enjoy their retirement in 2009.
