Why watch: United Township looks to break a five-game losing streak and snag its first Western Big 6 Conference victory. The Panthers are 1-8 in their last nine games. That stretch started with a 35-6 loss at Quincy last year. ... The Blue Devils have dropped three consecutive games and are one loss away from playoff elimination. "I'm not worried about Quincy," UT coach Ron Litchfield said. "My expectations are that we play hard, do things right and be disciplined." ... Three of the Blue Devils' four losses this season have come by eight points or less. "It stings worse when it's a close game, but I think the guys have realized that we are close," Quincy coach Rick Little said. ... The Blue Devils have won the last nine meetings between the two.

Quincy coach Rick Little: "If we feel too sorry for ourselves, (United Township) is dangerous enough to beat you."

United Township coach Ron Litchfield: "At any level, you have to play well up front on both sides of the ball. If we can move the ball and force them to do things they don't like to do on offense, we'll have a chance. If we let them run trap and (Malique) Robbins and misdirection, we'll struggle. We have to take things away from them that they like doing."
