Girdie D. White, 76, of Rock Island, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, where further arrangements are pending.
