Announcement is made of the engagement of Jena Boyd, Port Byron, and Eric Dhooge, Silvis. She is the daughter of Jim and Robin Boyd, Port Byron. He is the son of Tony Dhooge, Moline, and Linda Hanlin, Silvis.

The couple will be married Sept. 8, 2012, at Unitarian Universalist Church of the Quad Cities, Davenport. The reception will be held at the Holiday Inn, Rock Island.

Jena graduated from Riverdale High School in 2007 and Illinois State University in 2011. She is employed at Country Financial, Bloomington.

Eric graduated from United Township High School in 2007 and Illinois State University in 2011. He is employed at Walgreens, Bloomington.
