Lula Mae Frank Day, 80, of Moline, formerly of Buda, Ill., died 1:23 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Trinity Moline.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday, June 11, at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, Ill., with the Rev. James E. Allemeier officiating. Burial is at Hopeland Cemetery, Buda. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family of Lula Mae Frank Day or the donor's choice.
She was born May 6, 1932, in Milo Township, Bradford, Ill., to George William and Alice Elmore Ratliff. She married Charles Henry Frank on Sept. 4, 1949, in Buda. He died May 15, 1983. She then married Edwin L. Day on Nov. 1, 2003, in Buda.
She was a homemaker and employed at Harper Wyman, Princeton. She was a member of Sheffield United Methodist Church and attended All Saints Episcopal Church, Moline.
Surviving are her husband, Edwin L. Day, Moline; daughter, Linda (Thomas) Van Vooren, Sheffield; three sons, Stephen (Marilyn) Frank, Bourbonnais, Ill., Bruce Frank, Buda, Russell Frank, Manlius, Ill.; two stepsons, Mark (Rhonda) Day, Bettendorf, Scott M. (Cathy) Day, West Des Moines, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elmarene Thompson, Dixon, Ill., Wauneta Lang, Galva, Shirley Bornsheuer, Princeton; brother, Robert (Carol) Ratliff, Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, George, Harold and Ronald Ratliff.
