Several Quad Cities attractions are in the running to be named an Illinois Fan Favorite!

The Illinois Office of Tourism kicked off a new six-week tournament today, during National Travel and Tourism Week, when voters can pick their favorite attractions in head-to-head matchups on the Enjoy Illinois Facebook page at www.facebook.com/enjoyillinois

With a bracket-like format, the attractions with fewer votes will be eliminated each week in this statewide showdown until four attractions have earned the title of Illinois Fan Favorite.

In the Illinois History category, Black Hawk State Historic Site, the Arsenal Museum, and Bishop Hill State Historic Site are in the running. The John Deere Pavilion is competing in the Museums & Architecture category. The other two categories are Great Outdoors and Family Fun.
