Funeral services for Scott Duncan, 47, of Aledo, are Saturday at 11 a.m., at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo.

Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will be at Aledo Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Scott Duncan Memorial Fund.

Scott died on April 24, 2012, in Aledo.

Scott David Duncan was born on Aug. 28, 1964, in Aledo, to Dave and Janice Castor Duncan. He graduated from Aledo High School in 1982. He was previously married to Tammie Whitecanack on Nov. 4, 1989.

Scott was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed fishing and walking with his dog, Chico. He also had a special cat, Stormy.

Scott is survived by his children, Alex Duncan, Dallas, Texas, and Kalie Duncan and companion, Luke Schreck, Aledo; his parents, Dave and Janice Duncan, Aledo; brother, Phil Duncan and companion, Connie Lemon, Aledo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marjie and Jim Earl and Peggy and Steve Johnson, all of Aledo; one grandchild lovingly expected; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Bessie Castor; and paternal grandparents, Floyd and Lula Duncan.
