Alleged teen gang members charged in Moline gunfire

Three teenagers have been arrested in relation to a shots-fired incident in Moline Monday.

The Moline Police Department was called just before midnight to the 400 block of 48th Street for a report of shots fired, according to a police news release. Apparently no one was injured.

Responding officers arrested three boys, two of them 15 and the other, 16. The boys were allegedly hiding inside the residence at 413 48th St., Moline.

The three were described in the release as Satan Disciple gang members. They were taken to Mary Davis Juvenile Detention Center in Galesburg.

The release states officers also allegedly found a .22-caliber handgun in the possession of one of the subjects at the residence. Investigators believe the gun was used in the shooting.

All three teens have been charged with one count of aggravated unlawful use of a firearm and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a gang member, the release states.

The three have been charged as juveniles and were not identified in the release.
