Zac Brown Band coming to Q-C Aug. 3

Attention country and rock music fans! Ready your jeans that "fit just right," 'cause "life is good today." The Zac Brown Band is coming to the i wireless Center in Moline on Aug. 3.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show -- priced at $45 to $69.50 -- will go on sale at 10 a.m. April 21 at ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, and at the i wireless Center box office at 1201 River Drive, Moline.

The band recently logged its ninth consecutive No. 1 radio single, "Keep Me in Mind," which boasts the delicious harmonies that ring throughout the band's albums.

"Keep Me in Mind" also marks the band's fourth No. 1 single from its platinum-certified sophomore album, "You Get What You Give," according to a news release.

The Georgia six-piece band consists of Zac Brown on lead vocals and guitar, bassist John Hopkins, violinist Jimmy De Martini, guitarist and organist Coy Bowles, drummer Chris Fryar, and multi-instrumentalist Clay Cook.

The group has snagged a total of 10 Grammys, Country Music Awards and Academy of Country Music awards. According to billboard.com, the group also made its Top Artists of the Year Chart and the Billboard 200 Albums of the Year Chart in 2010 and 2011.

Along for the ride this tour are special guests Sonia Leigh and Nic Cowan.
