Ronald "Ron" L. Schoutteet, 55, of Kewanee, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at home.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rux, Kewanee. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday. Private inurnment is at a later date at Pleasant View Cemetery.

He was born May 28, 1956, in Geneseo, to Rene and Patricia Schoutteet. He married Mary Currier Oct. 10, 1975.

Surviving are his wife; parents, Kewanee; children, Brian, Plainfield, Ill., Becky Palmer, Kewanee; siblings, Roger, Geneseo, Kathy Slavens, Wisconsin, Carol Ryan, Kewanee; three grandchildren.
