Valentine's Day Gala -- The Quad City Symphony Orchestra has orchestrated the perfect night on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Start with a hosted bar and hors d'oeuvres at 5 p.m. in the Hotel Blackhawk's Gold Room, 200 East 3rd Street in downtown Davenport, Iowa. Then at 6 p.m. a Latin-infused gourmet dinner is served accompanied by live music. Stroll next door to the Adler Theatre for the 7:30 p.m. concert with guest conductor Alondra de la Parra and guest soloist guitarist Robert Belinic. Smooth Jazz Valentine's concert -- The fifth annual Smooth Jazz Valentine's concert and dinner on Saturday, February 11 will be held at The Lodge Hotel, 900 Spruce Hills Drive, Bettendorf. Dinner is at 6 p.m.; the concert starts at 8 p.m. Steve Cole, one of the most celebrated saxophone players in contemporary jazz, will perform. Tickets are $75 per person; $145 or $165 per couple. Valentine's Day Moonlight Walk -- Take a guided moonlight walk on Tuesday, February 14 with your sweetheart in Black Hawk Park along the path through the woods beautifully lit with luminaries. Then return to the Watchtower Lodge to warm up by the roaring fireplaces, and enjoy refreshments and music. Dress for the outdoors and bring a flashlight.
