Some of the Quad-Cities' biggest musical names are on a new CD, "Moondances, Chapter 1," available at Mojo's at the River Music Experience,

This compilation disc features tracks by Ellis Kell, Andrew Landers, Dave Cox, The Terry Hanson Ensemble, Tony Hoeppner, Jim the Mule, The Whoozdads, Kim Wiseman & Mark Johnson, Lojo Russo, Boothill Ridge, 'Coney Island' Pete Collins, Dave Sebree and The Ellis Kell Band.

Copies are available in Mojo's for $20 each. All tracks were used with permission of the artists for inclusion on this CD for the purpose of raising additional money for the Karli Rose Kell Music Scholarship Fund at RME.

All contributions to the Karli Rose Kell Music Scholarship Fund at RME go to help youth in the community in need of financial assistance for music lesson fees and program fees at the River Music Experience.

More than $13,000 has been raised, and all proceeds from the sale of this new CD will also go directly to this scholarship fund.

Karli died in an auto accident in October 2002. Proceeds from "Moondance" benefit concerts held in her memory in 2002, 2003, and 2004 generated funds for previous scholarships, which were awarded to graduating seniors from Rock Island High School who planned to further their music studies in college.
