Miller Appointed to Leadership Role
(DES MOINES)—House Republican Leader Kraig Paulsen (R-Hiawatha) has appointed Rep. Linda Miller (R-Bettendorf) as Ranking Member of the House Human Resources committee.
"I’m pleased that Rep. Miller will be representing Republicans on the Human Resources committee," said Leader Paulsen. "With her leadership, hard work, and dedication, we’re sure to move Iowa in the right direction."
Miller, who is serving her second term, will also serve on the House Ways and Means and Education committees, as well as the Health and Human Services subcommittee.
"I was elected to ensure Iowans’ priorities are held to the highest standard, and to get things done," said Rep. Miller. "My position on this committee will allow me to serve in a leadership role, and move our state forward, in a positive direction."
The Iowa Legislature convenes January 12 of next year.
